The Bobbit Worm is a tier 6 animal.
Mechanics[ | ]
- Tier 5 animals can evolve into bobbit worms (player-determined).
- 24,000 XP is required for a tier 5 animal to evolve into a Bobbit Worm.
- Bobbit Worms evolve into tier 7 animals (player-determined).
- 30,00 XP is required for a bobbit worm to evolve into a tier 7 animal.
- Bobbit worms drop meat upon death.
- As a bobbit worm, friendly fire is turned off for other bobbit worms, meaning you cannot damage them nor be damaged by them.
Abilities[ | ]
Passive Abilities[ | ]
- You can dig in the ground at 100% speed, and restore pressure inside ground.
- You are immune to coral reefs.
Active Abilities[ | ]
- Boosting will let you grab tier 6s and below. When you grab an animal, your damage increases by 30%, you deal 35 damage to your victim, and you start to move backwards. If your prey hits the ground, they take 20 to 25 damage. After a few seconds, or if you click again (doesn't cost a boost), your grab will end.
Suitable Biomes[ | ]
- The suitable biomes for the bobbit worm are in the terrain and in the ocean, arctic, or deeeep.
- If a bobbit worm goes outside of terrain, it will lose pressure.
- If a bobbit worm goes into the swamp, it will lose salinity.
- If a bobbit worm goes into the swamp and outside of terrain, it will lose salinity and pressure.
Diet[ | ]
This is a complete list of food that Bobbit Worms can eat.
Name | Can be eaten by | Image | XP | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
Barb | All except for the stonefish who spawned it | 0 | Spawns behind a stonefish using their active ability. Deals damage upon eating it (7% of max life). Poisons anyone who eats it with a base DPS of 10% that lasts 5 seconds (except poison-immune animals). Despawns after 4 seconds. | |
Bird Poop | All except for lamprey and seagull | 10 | Affected by gravity. Automatically spawns below any seagull every 10 seconds. | |
Plankton | All | 25 | Spawns in the ocean. | |
Dam Food | Tier 1 to tier 7 | 35 | Spawns underneath beaver dams. | |
Ice | All | 50 | Spawns in the arctic and deeeep. | |
Algae | Oarfish, penguin, tier 1 to tier 6 except lamprey | 50 | Spawns on the ocean floor. | |
Yellow Algae | Oarfish, penguin, tier 1 to tier 6 except lamprey | 50 | Spawns on the floors of the arctic and deeeep. | |
Apple | Tier 1 to tier 8 except lamprey and pelican | 50 | Spawns in trees. | |
Berry | Tier 1 to tier 8 except lamprey and pelican | 50 | Spawns in bushes. | |
Volcano Food | All except lamprey | 125 | Affected by gravity, floats upwards. Spawns out of volcanoes, which can be hidden in and are located in the arctic and the deeeep. When eaten as an animal that is not suited to the arctic, it will replenish some of your temperature. | |
Meat | All | 1000 | Spawns where an animal dies (tier 2 to tier 10 animals only). The amount of meat that spawns depends on what animal it was. |
Hiding Places[ | ]
This is a complete list of terrain that Bobbit Worms can hide in.
Name | Summary | Image |
---|---|---|
Shipwreck | One shipwreck always appears on one of the dirt islands that border the ocean and deeeep. Tier 1 to tier 9 animals can hide here. Produces bubbles that can be eaten. | |
Abandoned House | Does not generate randomly, one abandoned house always appears in a specific location to the left of the deeeep floor. Tier 1 to tier 9 animals can hide here. |
Strategy[ | ]
- If you grab an animal, you should drag them in the opposite position. If you want to grab it to the seabed, you should put your mouse upwards.
- You can grab animals even in tier 6. However, your damage is the least in tier 6. Don't forget that.
- Overall, these are extremely powerful for a tier six animal and can hunt almost anything, IF USED CORRECTLY.
- If you encounter a whole pile of meat or some meat in the ground, EAT THE MEAT! This will give you high XP to become a tier 7 animal and you will probably have some XP left to evolve to your next animal. This happens to some players.
- If you are a bobbit worm stay in the ground feeding on algae or meat until your XP bar is 150k. Then, evolve quickly in the specified habitat.
- Trolling: Try "spanking" a player when they are near the ground. To do this, boost into the player and get back in ground very quickly. The player won't notice if they are slow enough to spot you hitting them in the rear.
- Bobbit worms have pressure bar shortening every second for 10 seconds, then take damage every second for 9 seconds until they die if they do not eat.
- Remember you need to STAY UNDERGROUND to keep your pressure high, going into the water will cause your pressure to decrease quickly.
- You have no use to Manta rays, so Manta rays will probably release you, so don’t enter the aura of those, it is a waste of time.
- You can grab other bobbit worms underground in PD and TFFA.
- Squids should be your main prey. Hunting them is simple: grab them and bash them against the wall until they're half health. Then, release and quickly re-grab the squid, killing it.
- Be wary of stonefish while underground. However, you dig faster than them, a couple of boosts and you will be safe.
- If you find an Atlantic Torpedo underground while hunting, you can troll them by spanking them while they are still underground, they have a really slow digging speed. Be mindful of their powerful stun ability though!
Tier: SS[ | ]
Due to the fact that they litteraly have AN ENTIRE DOMAIN TO THEMSELVES & THE ABILITY TO HUNT NEARLY ANYTHING they deserve no less than to be considered the best in the game.
Skins[ | ]
Skins are cosmetics used to change an animal's looks, or sometimes, an animal’s biome or size statistics slightly. The table below shows the list of approved skins that can be used for the Bobbit Worm.
Non-seasonal Skins[ | ]
Non-seasonal skins can be used in every time of the year. They are mostly based on real-life species, or adjectives such as 'Battle-Scarred' or 'Dark'.
Seasonal Skins[ | ]
Seasonal skins can only be used in certain seasons, such as Christmas, Lunar New Year etc. They will disappear from the Store once the Season is over, but will be back next year, and remain in the player's inventory if they bought them.
Unrealistic Skins[ | ]
Unrealistic skins are skins only usable on custom servers that allow using them. They are mostly spaced themed, or in some cases absurd in terms of the stat changes they provide.
