Summary
Pearl defense is new team based deeeep.io game mode in which are on a team of 7-9 members labeled either green (GRE) or red (RED).
Objective
The objective of pearl defense is to first break open the other team's clam, which is surrounded by remora guards(you will need to be fairly advanced to do this) and then grab the pearl and in classic capture the flag fashion bring the pearl to your team's goal
The pearl
When you have the pearl in your "grasp", you will not be able to boost or use a skill. Instead by clicking, you will throw the pearl a short distance away (will still not go far even when throwing above the surface). when you die or the pearl is out of your hand, anyone can pick it up, and if the other team picks it up, it will teleport back to their open clam.

Miscellaneous
- When dying, you will keep all your xp (though meat will drop) but you will have to wait 10 seconds before respawning.
